Context
La Tapisserie 20e needed a high-end digital gallery with strict requirements on visual quality, filtering precision, and browsing speed. The creative direction was produced by The Lettero. Our mission was full technical execution without compromising the original design language.
The key requirement was clear: avoid a static catalog. Visitors had to filter works using domain-specific criteria, with fast response times and no UX degradation in multilingual browsing paths.
The challenge was therefore twofold: preserve creative intent while building an operational architecture that can scale with a growing collection.
Approach
We structured WordPress around a collection-first data model. Each item is normalized through taxonomies and metadata, allowing clean front-end filtering and predictable back-office operations.
We developed a custom WordPress plugin for advanced filter logic: criteria combinations, ranking behavior, and scalable rules for future catalog extensions.
We also optimized consultation flows to keep the premium editorial experience intact: stable visual hierarchy, immediate access to critical information, and well-positioned inquiry forms aligned with user intent.
Technical architecture
