01

A premium gallery, collection filters and WordPress performance

La Tapisserie 20e needed to publish a rich gallery of high-end pieces, with exacting standards for visual quality, filter precision and ease of exploration. The design was created by The Lettero; our role was to carry it through to a complete build without compromise.

The central need was to avoid a static catalogue. Visitors had to be able to filter works by detailed collection criteria without friction or a loss of performance, including in a multilingual context.

The technical challenge had two parts: preserve the design studio's creative intent and build an operational layer able to handle a large volume of content.

02

Approach

We structured the WordPress site around a collection-based data model. Each work is organised with taxonomies and collection metadata, enabling consistent front-end filtering and clear back-office management.

A custom WordPress plugin was developed for the gallery's specific needs: combined criteria, prioritisation rules, fast responses and a structure that can evolve as the catalogue grows.

04

Technical architecture

We put a multi-layer performance strategy in place: application caching, optimised rendering of filter queries and crawl settings to speed up useful indexing.

Multilingual support was built into the site structure rather than added later. This keeps content, URLs and SEO signals consistent across language versions.

05

Outcomes
